Mario Sernesi, a man of great insights founded the brand’s artistic Porcelain Manufactory in 1948 in Florence, a place already steeped in tradition and passion for the noble material. Lualdi is a historic company of Italian design in the field of interior doors, custom furniture and contract, managed by the fourth generation of the family. The industrial turning point began in the sixties thanks to the close symbiosis created with the architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni. Today the company collaborates with the most important architects in the world, has showrooms in Milan, New York and Miami, and its leadership is internationally recognized.

The roots of the Bevilacqua family in the textile world date back to 1499. Indeed, in that year Giovanni Mansueti painted The capture of St. Mark in the synagogue, mentioning the names of the noblemen who commissioned it: one of them was a certain “Giacomo Bevilacqua, weaver”. The actual Tessitura was founded by Luigi Bevilacqua in 1875, after recovering some looms and machines once used by the Silk Guild of the Republic of Venice.

Manooi is inspired by the natural light around us. As we design and manufacture custom-made crystal chandeliers our goal is to re-create this harmonious, positive natural light within individual homes and public buildings.
